Hi! With some digging around, I have tried to create an accurate history of club penguin. Starting in August 2005, club penguin started ‘beta-testing’. They got people to help them report bugs, so the CP staff could squash them out of the system. These bugs included things like dissapearing penguins, game bugs and such. Club Penguin officialy launched on Monday, October 24th, 2005. The first official party for non-beta-testers was on the 26th of October, 2005. This was a Halloween party. unfortunately we had to ban more than 100 penguins last week. We would like to thank all the players for helping us keep Club Penguin clean and fun.
Did you know that we had more than 220 simultaneous players online yesterday. The old Penguin Chat never had more than 100 simultaneous.

Now to go a little deeper into CP history. Before there was club penguin, there was penguit chat. There were the original, PC2 and PC3.
Penguin chat is still open, under the link www.penguinchat.com also, there is a football penguin chat. These are pointlessly boring, so i’m not going to bore you with the info.
